This little painting of an apple with grapes was another one that I did with the wonderful ladies of the Northeast Arkansas Visual Art League. The things I like about this one is the subtle mug in the back and the paint texture in the apple. The background is very transparent with thin layers of transparent paint while the apple and grapes in the foreground are painted with thick brushstrokes. It creates an exciting and interesting surface to explore. Enjoy!
